Providing continuity to our customers

Be reassured

I want to take this opportunity to communicate how we as a company are navigating our way through the current COVID-19 climate and how we intend to maintain service levels during a time of deep uncertainty.

We take the health and well-being of all of our employees, customers, partners and wider community very seriously and are following closely the advice of both the Government and Public Health Authority.

We continue to review our business continuity plan, and whilst we are very much “business as usual”, we have now implemented our contingency plans in order to provide continuity to our customers over the coming weeks and months. We are utilising state-of-the-art outsourced methods for all communications so please continue to use the same contact details for your main points of contact as normal. We will be postponing all face-to-face meetings both on site and with external parties in order to minimise physical contact where possible. Video conferencing will be offered as an alternative.

Additional cleaning has been implemented and extra sanitising equipment installed within both factories and our main office block. We are utilising the social distancing rules as much as is feasibly possible and have put steps in place to ensure members of staff with cross functional skills are operating within the business at arm’s length. This includes staggered shift patterns such that we will always have available capacity for your business.

Our logistics team have all been provided with their own individual sanitising kits and have been instructed to remain in their vehicles where possible at customer or 3rd party premises. To minimise contact, our drivers will be authorising dispatch notes detailing the customer representative receiving the goods to avoid unnecessary contact for the immediate future.

We continue to monitor the health of our employees and any member of staff showing symptoms will be asked to self-isolate in line with current guidelines.

Corbetts are fully committed to maintaining service levels to all; our dedicated team are working diligently to ensure we mitigate any potential issues and are available to talk through any concerns you may have, knowing how important it is for Corbetts to support your business during these challenging times.

We hope you all stay safe and remain healthy during these difficult times.
