Sam’s drive recognised as Corbetts’ Employee of the Month

When you think of the lifeblood of a company like Corbetts, who deliver their services nationwide, the drivers who get products safely to customers come to mind. This month, we are pleased to recognise Sam Paylor, an LGV 1 driver at Corbetts, as our Employee of the Month.

As an LGV 1 driver, Sam is quite literally the face of our company to customers. His role involves collecting and delivering products with excellent service, ensuring orders arrive at their destinations safely and on-time. This level of reliability is crucial for keeping our customer relationships strong.

Sam has been part of the Corbetts team since September 2018, consistently going above and beyond in his role. What makes this recognition particularly special is Sam’s evident pride in a job well done. For him, this award celebrates his commitment to doing his very best at work each and every day.

Sam said: “I feel really proud and honoured to be named Employee of the Month! As a driver, I know how important it is to represent Corbetts positively with customers. This recognition motivates me to keep working hard.”

Transport Supervisor Andzelika Szabat, who nominated Sam for the award, added: “Sam is a very helpful guy. I am still learning a lot about the business and Sam is always willing to help, answering any questions I might have.

“Further to that, it does not matter what time he comes back to the yard; Sam will always stay longer, just to go and collect the trailer or help around the site.

“I also had a situation where I needed help doing extra runs during the day, working extra Saturdays, or delivering loads urgently over the weekend, and Sam never hesitates to agree and help the business out.”
